Filmmaking 101 Workshops

The LA Shorts Fest is strongly committed to creating an open forum for artists; an environment that allows them to be innovative and take risks with their creativity. With the widespread availability of digital equipment and editing software, filmmaking is more accessible now than it has ever been.

Filmmaking 101 is a two-day workshop that aims to teach novice filmmakers the basics they need to create quality films. Experienced producers, directors and writers will provide lectures and hands-on experience with all aspects of the filmmaking process.
