Los Angeles International Short Film Festival 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization - “LA Shorts Fest” is the largest short film festival in the world. The festival is accredited by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences.  In past years, 23 participants have earned Academy Award nominations, with 7 filmmakers actually taking home the Oscar.
