 LA Shorts Fest welcome’s back Panavision as an award sponsor
 
“Best of Fest” will receive a Panavision package valued at $60,000
The filmmaker would have their choice of a Panaflex Elaine 16mm camera package or a Panaflex Gold II 35mm camera package, both packages include lenses and accessories. The filmmaker would need to provide insurance. The camera would be available for up to four weeks of filming, but equipment is based on availability. The filmmaker would have up to 24 months to use the award. 

LA Shorts Fest is the largest short film festival in the world and is accredited by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences. We are the only Festival with SIX awards recognized by the Academy.

LA Shorts Fest "The End is Near" Wins Hollywood Reporter Key Art Award

  37th annual Hollywood Reporter Movie Marketing Key Art Awards
 
"The goal is to honor the best work that is done in movie marketing, and the quality of the work that is done in this area gets better and better every year and moves into new areas every year," said Bob Israel, chairman of the Key Art Awards Advisory Board and executive producer of the show.

"We have more categories and more judges than ever before," he added. "Between the print and the A/V categories, we had about 500 judges who work in movie marketing. We expanded our new-media category. ... We added a home entertainment/new-media category."

A total of 1,335 submissions were judged this year.
